As a parent obligated to pay child support, you may be wondering what happens when your child turns 18. Turning eighteen doesn't automatically mean you stop paying child support.

- Your child is of legal age (18 years old) and; ;
- Your child is financially independent (he works and, preferably, is no longer in school).
